1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy is published by Klick2Kart LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as SquadClean ("we," "us," or "our"), headquartered in Delaware County, Ohio. It describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Service at squadclean.app. It applies to both Hosts (account owners) and any Cleaners or Contractors whose personal data is entered into the Service by a Host.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Data: Your email address, full name, and any optional phone number provided at registration or in account settings.
  • Billing Data: Payment method and subscription details are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. SquadClean does not store raw payment card numbers. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Cleaner / Contractor Data: Names and phone numbers of cleaning staff entered by the Host. By entering this data, the Host warrants they have obtained all required consents from those individuals.
  • Property & Calendar Data: Property names, optional addresses, and iCal URL feeds from Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or similar platforms that you connect to the Service.
  • Message Logs: Records of outbound SMS/WhatsApp messages sent and inbound replies received, stored to display turnover confirmation status in your dashboard.
  • Usage & Technical Data: Server logs, IP addresses, browser type, and error reports (via Sentry) used solely to diagnose technical issues and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information only for the following purposes:

  • To operate and provide the Service — syncing calendars and dispatching scheduling notifications via SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To process billing and manage subscription plans via Stripe.
  • To authenticate users and maintain the security of accounts.
  • To monitor application health and diagnose errors (via Sentry error tracking).
  • To respond to your support inquiries and communicate Service-related updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Information Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We share your information only with the following trusted sub-processors, strictly to operate the Service, under their respective data protection agreements:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication.
  • Vercel: Web application hosting and deployment.
  • Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing and subscription management.
  • Twilio, Inc.: SMS and WhatsApp message dispatch. Phone numbers of cleaners are transmitted to Twilio to deliver scheduling messages.
  • Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.): Error monitoring (error messages and stack traces only — no PII is intentionally included).

Mobile phone numbers and message content are used solely to deliver scheduling notifications. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances. Message frequency varies per property and booking schedule. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data, property data, booking records, turnover history, and message logs for the duration your account is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation, to allow for account recovery or plan reinstatement. After 90 days, cancelled account data is permanently deleted from our systems.

Right to Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@squadclean.app. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 business days and confirm completion by email.

Third-Party Data Note: Cleaner phone numbers submitted by a Host are considered that Host's data. If a Cleaner wishes to be removed from the Service, they should contact their Host, who is responsible for removing the Cleaner's record.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security on all database tables, and service-role key access restrictions. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies

SquadClean uses only functional cookies that are strictly necessary to maintain your authenticated session (via Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights (California & Nevada Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" of your data (we do not sell data). To exercise CCPA rights, email support@squadclean.app. Nevada residents may also opt out of the sale of covered personal information by contacting us (no sale takes place).

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
